Biography

Antonio has been hosting one of the most respected jam in London for several years at Nomad Jazz Club, since summer 2011, playing with some of the best artist of the international scene.

He came in London in the summer 2004 and since then he had both the possibility and the intention to challenge himself with different musical genres, like Jazz, South American Music (Bossa, Samba, Tango, etc), Acoustic and more recently he came back playing Jazz Rock and Fusion.

 

During those years he had the opportunity to play in many events,like the London Guitar Festival in the 2007 with Henrick Jensen,and to play in different Jazz Club in England and Europe, sharing the stage and recording with great musicians like U. T. Ghandi, Gianni Cazzola, Giovanni Maier, Marc Abrams, Roberto Manzin, Kevin Glasgow, John Altman, Riccardo Fioravanti, Jim Mullen, Davide Giovannini, Ross Stanley, Enzo Zirilli, Davide Mantovani , Rachel Gould, Roberto Gatto and many others.

 

Since he came to London, Antonio participated in many different recording session, and he has been teaching Jazz guitar 1, 2 and 3 at the City Lit College of London for 9 years.

He plays with his own trio, with Davide Govannini (drums) and Kevin Glasgow (bass), and he is the leader of the Rock-Fusion band JzfunK, and he plays often with the jazz guitar legend that is Jim Mullen, plus collaborating and touring with Rachel Gould, one of the last legendary old school vocalists from the States. He is an in demand session player.
